How did the name of the band originate?

dcmb’s name originated outside an ice cream parlor in St. Joseph, Michigan. On a bench was a feuding couple, their words inaudible until the woman got up and shouted “And don’t call me Betty!” as she stalked off. The name was born then and there. That’s our founding drummer Betsy Sabga in this picture, revisiting the spot.
